Starting stacks typically range from 20,000 to 50,000 chips, and antes are introduced after level 4 to keep the action moving.

Late registration is allowed for the first 2 levels of each tournament. After that point, no new players may join the event.
Yes, satellites are available for major events like the Sydney Poker Championship. These lower buy-in qualifiers give players a chance to win a seat into the main event.
