• Use of the venue's poker room, card lounge, restaurant, and bar is also governed by these terms.
• The terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Chefhouse Hub Pty Ltd.

• Venue refers to the physical premises of Chefhouse Hub in Surry Hills, Sydney.
• Services includes poker table reservations, tournament entry, dining, and bar services.
• You refers to any individual accessing the website or using the services.

Effective Date

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of 12 September 2026 and replace all prior versions. Chefhouse Hub may update these terms at any time; continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of any changes. The most current version will always be available on this page.

Minimum Age Requirement

You must be at least 21 years of age to enter Chefhouse Hub, participate in any poker games, or use any services. Proof of age may be required at any time during your visit.

• Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry.
• Failure to provide acceptable ID will result in refusal of entry without refund.
• This age requirement is strictly enforced in accordance with Australian law.

Age Verification on Website

Upon entering the Chefhouse Hub website, you will be prompted to confirm that you are 21 years or older. This verification is mandatory and cannot be bypassed. By confirming your age, you declare that the information provided is true and accurate. Misrepresentation of age is a breach of these terms and may result in legal action.

General Conduct

All patrons must behave respectfully towards staff and other players. Disruptive, abusive, or fraudulent behaviour will result in immediate removal and potential banning from the venue.

• Chefhouse Hub reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.
• Recording or photographing other players without consent is prohibited.
• Dress code: smart casual attire is required.

Poker Game Integrity

Chefhouse Hub is committed to maintaining the integrity of all poker games. Cheating, collusion, or any form of unfair play is strictly prohibited and will result in forfeiture of winnings and legal action.

• All games are monitored by trained staff and surveillance systems.
• Players found cheating will be permanently banned from all Chefhouse Hub venues.
• Use of electronic devices to gain an unfair advantage is not permitted.

Responsible Gambling

Chefhouse Hub promotes responsible gambling. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is available through the National Gambling Helpline at 1800 858 858 or gamblinghelponline.org.au.

• Self-exclusion options are available upon request.
• Staff are trained to assist patrons who may be experiencing gambling-related harm.

Table Reservations

Reservations for poker tables can be made through the Chefhouse Hub website or by phone. All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation by Chefhouse Hub.

• A valid credit card may be required to secure a reservation.
• Reservations are held for 15 minutes past the scheduled time before being released.
• Chefhouse Hub reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation at its discretion.

Payment Terms

All fees for poker games, tournaments, dining, and bar services must be paid in full at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and approved electronic transfers.
• Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
• Chefhouse Hub may change prices at any time without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund of any deposit. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

• Tournament entry fees are non-refundable once the tournament begins.
• Private event bookings have separate cancellation terms as specified in the event contract.

Ownership of Content

All content on the Chefhouse Hub website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Chefhouse Hub or its licensors and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

• You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
• The Chefhouse Hub name, logo, and associated marks are trademarks and may not be used without permission.

Limited License

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the website for personal, non-commercial use only. This license does not permit any resale or commercial use of the website or its contents. Any unauthorized use terminates the license immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Chefhouse Hub does not warrant that the website will be error-free or uninterrupted.

• Chefhouse Hub disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• No advice or information obtained from the website creates any warranty not expressly stated.

Limitation of Damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chefhouse Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the website or services.

User Indemnity

This includes reasonable legal fees. This indemnity survives termination of these terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with Australian law.

Dispute Resolution Process

Before initiating legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may seek relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

• Mediation may be required before litigation.
• This clause does not limit any rights under Australian Consumer Law.
